The United States Postal Service plans to set up a booth near the ceremony site to offer a special cancellation for United States Mint’s Launch of the new quarter Honoring Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial on April 20, 2013. Collectors who wish to have their coin rolls stamped with the commemorative cancellation need to put a stamp on the roll (which the USPS will have available) and present it at the booth. The stamp will be cancelled and thereby provide proof the roll was purchased at the dedication ceremony. This special cancellation will be used on just that one day and then destroyed.
