A small motorboat capsized near Gibraltar, at Put-in-Bay Harbor, on Tuesday night. Several individuals were seen jumping from the vessel before it drifted across the primary channel and toward Park Place Boat Club at The Keys, according to Captain Larry Barden of the Sonny-S. The U.S. Coast Guard arrived on scene, as did police and fire/rescue from Put-in-Bay. Members of the Boardwalk Harbor Operations Staff and Middle Bass Ferry assisted in the rescue, as did other boaters in the vicinity of the mooring field. As of 11:14 pm, no injuries were reported and the vessel was being lifted from the lake and drained.
