The Crew at Work
There is no better way to spend the afternoon then setting sail on the tall ship Halie & Matthew. She leaves her slip by the Jet Express Dock and sails for 90 minutes on beautiful Lake Erie. The Captain and crew are eager to share their experiences of life on the ship. Halie & Matthew is constructed of a solid fiberglass hull, steel masts and mahogany interior. She has done whale-watching tours, Boy Scout day trips, and helped with relief efforts in Haiti. This September 2, she will participate in the Battle of Lake Erie Reenactment. On Sunday, 25 August, you can join the crew for a day-sail from Put-in-Bay. You will not be disappointed if you step on the deck and let the sails do the work. Capture the flavor and energy of American history right here at Put-in-Bay!
