Gale Winds Brought Temporary Change to Bass Islands

Saturday, 27 October 2013, was more than a blustery day on Lake Erie.  The South Bass Island Lighthouse weather station (SBIO1) recorded a high wind gust of 39 knots (44.8 mph) at 9 am yesterday.
