Marilou Suszko and Laura Taxel, who wrote, “West Side Market: 100 Years and Still Cooking,” are having an essay contest, asking you to reminisce about market holidays in 500 words or less. Deadline is Dec. 10 and the top winner will receive a copy of the book and $100 to spend at the market. Second and third place winners will also get a book.
