Ice is Nice at Put-in-Bay

An outdoor temperature of 40°F on Friday, 10 January 2014, brought many winter-lovers outside to fish and play.  Ice depth was reported to be anywhere from 3″ to 14″, with a somewhat slushy surface.  Fishing reports indicate the Perch were more prevalent than anything else, and SAFETY was foremost on everyone’s mind. Below are selected scenes from a tour along the West Shore of South Bass Island.  Click on an image for a larger view!
