On this dreary 8th day of February, Miller Boat Line ended its special four-day operations between Put-in-Bay and Catawba. Captain Matt Miller and trusty crew returned the M.V. South Bass to home port after the last cars and passengers disembarked at the Lime Kiln Dock on South Bass Island at 4:15pm. Thirty minutes later, after a smooth ride through a calm Lake Erie, the vessel was secured at the Miller Docks. “Only Mother Nature can answer the question when we’ll run again,” said Captain Miller.
