Put-in-Bay Biplane Ride Offers Extraordinary Views

Biplane Put in Bay
Looking across South Bass Island toward mainland Ohio

Biplane Put in BaySoaring across Lake Erie and the Bass Islands at just under 2000 feet in a vintage biplane is a summer adventure you don’t want to miss!  Rides are available most weekends, weather permitting, from Put-in-Bay Airport (3w2).  Two passengers (at $80/person) are seated in the front cockpit, and pilot Rick Ziebarth does all the work from the rear cockpit.  Professional headsets allow for clear communication and the opportunity to ask the 23-year veteran operator all about the bird’s-eye view.  With brilliant weather predicted for the coming weekend, the flights will most certainly be exhilarating.
