Put-in-Bay School Promotes National Sports Equipment Drive

Kids from under-served communities are 50% less likely to play sports. One major reason? Equipment is too expensive. If kids had more gear, they’d play more sports, which improves academic performance and overall well-being. We are asking the Bass Islands community to donate gently-used sports equipment to a local recreation center or after-school program that serves communities in need. We’ll be a part of the LARGEST youth-led sports equipment drive in the country.
