The Harvest Dinner held at Tipper’s Restaurant on Friday evening was a resounding success. Students from Put-in-Bay School performed well as servers and bussers, and the traditional Thanksgiving fare (Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables) included choice of dessert. Woody Widmar was the chief chef, and Tipper Niese donated the use of the kitchen and dining area. Proceeds from the event will support the Gustav Heineman Scholarship Fund.
