In round two of Put-in-Bay vs. Mackinac basketball, the Lady Lakers rebounded with a 32-24 victory over the girls of Put-in-Bay, thereby earning the right to keep the trophy on Mackinac Island by a six-point spread after two games. The Lakers lost game one by two points.
The Put-in-Bay boys team continued their championship style of Friday evening with a solid 49-41 win over the Lakers. The two victories gave them a winning difference of 26 points for the right to carry the trophy back to Put-in-Bay.
