The Put-in-Bay Girl Scouts and Put-in-Bay Recreation Committee honored island senior citizens today. Holiday gift bags with chocolate, cookies, fruit, and Put-in-Bay Winery grape juice–all tagged with handmade cards–were delivered this afternoon. Such a kind outreach is one of many thoughtful efforts completed by both local community organizations during the year. Community unity lives strong on the Bass Islands!
