Gene Zajac will present “Not Your Parents Universe” at the Put-in-Bay Town Hall on Thursday January 12, 2017. The program will start at 7:00 and end at 8:00 pm. This will be another light-hearted look at the universe with theme, “What we thought then” vs “What we know now.” There will be stargazing afterwards, weather permitting. Gene taught Astronomy at the Shaker Heights High School Planetarium and is now a retired resident of Put-in-Bay. He is affectionately known as the Village Astronomer. Bass Islanders are lucky to have Gene for LEINWC Nature Camp and Road Scholar programs, as well as for his programs at Scheeff East Point Nature Preserve and Put-in-Bay Town Hall LEIC.
