Miller Boat Line cancelled afternoon service today due to severe wind conditions. 
The National Weather Service’s High Wind Warning, set to expire at 7pm this evening, became a certainty as early as 11am, as seen in the accompanying chart from the South Bass Island Lighthouse weather station, SBI01.
