The National Weather Service forecast office in Cleveland illustrates graphically why boaters may avoid Lake Erie this weekend. However, multiple Put-in-Bay businesses are scheduled to open for the season starting tomorrow. Included in this group are: Hooligans, Rita’s Cantina, Boardwalk Upper Deck, and the Crew’s Nest. Already happily serving customers are REEL BAR, Pasquales, Topsy-Turvy Wharfside, Frosty’s, Round House Bar, Tipper’s, Blu Luna, and The Boathouse. Hotels and B&B’s are open and taking reservations, and both the Miller Boat Line and Jet Express are operating scheduled runs.
