Schedel Gardens Visit – July Program

Thursday, July 6 will be the date of our major event of the summer, a trip to beautiful Schedel Gardens in Elmore, Ohio. We will leave Put in Bay on the 9 am Miller ferry and drive 35 minutes to the 17-acre Schedel Gardens estate. At 10:15, we will be hosted to a one and a half hour guided tour of these spectacular gardens. Golf carts will be available for those who need assistance. The tour will be followed by a buffet lunch on the outside patio overlooking the property. There will also be time to visit the Garden’s gift shop and a nearby pottery shop on the way home. Cost of the trip, including lunch, guided tour, and admission to the gardens, is $25 per person. You may purchase tickets at the June meeting, by mailing a check to Put in Bay Garden Club, PO Box 815, PIB 43456, or by contacting Kathy Shrader at 440 773-5413.
