The Put in Bay Panthers basketball squad kicks off the 2017/18 campaign Saturday morning, 2 December 2017, on home town turf at the Jim Poulos Recreation facility (on the campus of Put-in-Bay School). Action starts at 10:30 am against Temple Christian for the girls, followed by the Green Bears of Ottawa Hills at noon for the boys.
All 16 high school home games can be heard live via the audio broadcast on WPIB.com (Put-in-Bay Radio). The program is accessible via mobile device, tablet or Web browser and features popular island broadcaster, Patrick Myers. Five of the games will feature video and audio, with the first dual-broadcast game on December 16th against the Bowling Green Christian Academy. Additional video presentations will be announced later this month.
