Miller Boat Line’s fleet was blessed this morning by Deacon Mike Leahy, Pastoral Leader at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. Parish members joined MBL owner Billy Market and staff under a bright sky just before the William Market blew the departure whistle at 8:16am–Captain David Dress at the helm. The trip from Put-in-Bay harbor to Miller Boat Line’s Lime Kiln dock lasted exactly thirty minutes. The first run to Catawba Island was scheduled for 9:30am.
