Put-in-Bay Music Festival comes to Perry’s Memorial grounds, Put-in-Bay, Ohio, on Saturday, 9 June 2018.  Bring your blankets or lawn chairs and prepare to settle in for a lineup of six live bands, music workshops, and food & beverages!

MC Bob Gatewood will end the festival by singing “Friends of the Bay”

2018 Music Workshops

A Drumming Workshop will be given from 11:30 am to 1 pm by Warren Hyer from the Central Ohio Symphony. A short performance by the Drummers will take place on the secondary stage between Swingmania and School of Rock at about 1 pm.

A Ukulele Workshop will be given from 1 to 3 pm by Islander Dick McCarthy. The Ukulele players will give a performance between the Reese Dailey Band and Hillbilly Casino at about 3:30 pm.

Sea Shanty Rangers

Three Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial Rangers will perform a selection of Sea Shantys on the secondary stage between band switch overs at the music festival. Rangers will perform between School of Rock and the Reese Dailey Band at approximately 2:30 pm, between Hillbilly Casino and Groovement about 4:45 pm, and between Groovement and the final act, Lowdown Brass Band about 6 pm.

Guitar Hero Contest

Show off your playing style during our Guitar Hero contest in the workshop tent during the Put-in-Bay Music festival. You’ll get the opportunity to show off your riffs and classic guitar strumming moves while compiling points toward prizes. Sign up in the Guitar Hero tent. Contest begins at 11:30 am.
