Put-in-Bay Water Safety Under Review by Village Council

Put in BayAn economic study, recently compiled by Joe Cerny, provides valuable insight regarding installation of a permanent ozone system versus installation of a waterline to maintain the safety standards of the Put-in-Bay water supply.  Mr. Cerny writes in the executive summary, “The Village of Put-in-Bay, in meeting its obligations in providing safe drinking water, and mostly due to Harmful Algae Blooms (HAB), is in need and required to provide a solution to meet these obligations. Two methods have been discussed.”

Village Council scheduled a special meeting on 18 October 2018 to review the pertinent issues.  The PDF attached below is a copy of Mr. Cerny’s report, made available to Put-in-Bay Daily™ by the Put-in-Bay Property Association.
