Put-in-Bay School Basketball continues as one of islanders’ most beloved winter activities. Saturday home games generally draw a full crowd in the Jim Poulos Recreation Center. This year, the season begins on 30 November with a visit to Michigan for the Great Lakes Island Basketball Tournament. Competition will include players from Beaver Island, Mackinac Island, and Washington Island. The event is hosted by Beaver Island Community School. WPIB Radio will broadcast live audio/video, featuring local broadcaster Patrick Myers–“Voice of Put-in-Bay!”
