
Put-in-Bay weather finally presents conditions which warrant hope for “good ice”–that is, thick and solid ice for anglers to venture safely onto Lake Erie with shanties and fishing equipment. Current assessments report the ice is 4″ thick–not yet safe. With continuing below freezing temperatures at night, the weekend looks promising for the erection of shanty town. As always, safety first!
