Put in Bay SchoolPut in Bay VolleyballPut in Bay VolleyballPut-in-Bay Panthers suffered a tough four-set loss last night at Clyde. The scores were: 25-17, 20-25, 17-25, 13-25.  The ladies started strong, but they faded as the Fliers made corrections after the first game.

The loss does not diminish the Put in Bay Volleyballsuccessful season nine wins and five losses. This tied a program record for number of wins. Individual season records also highlight the team’s effort.  Elena Schroeder set a school record for kills in a season at 101.  Nora Ladd’s 86 aces this season changed the record books.

Coach Schuffenecker said, “This team played its best volleyball at the end of the season and that describes a great team. They worked hard to improve during every practice, and the results showed on the court. It was a pleasure to coach this team!”

The Put-in-Bay School Volleyball Team and community have much about which to be proud!
