Miller Ferry brought the last run of the day from Catawba to Put-in-Bay at 5:47pm, just as the lighthouse wind speed was recorded from the southwest at 40 knots (46mph). The gusts reached 51mph, and the air temperature read 42.8°F. A Gale Warning remains in effect until 11am Friday. Two vehicles and no foot-passengers arrived on the M/V Put-in-Bay.
