A strong fall storm roared through the western basin of Lake Erie on Wednesday. Miller Boat Line cancelled all but one round-trip to the mainland. Frothy, tumultuous waves rocked the south-western shores of South Bass Island, and Put-in-Bay harbor revealed extremely low water. Lighthouse weather readings peaked at 3pm.
