Put-in-Bay Panther Basketball Seniors, their parents, and Coach Shuffenecker were recognized on the Jim Poulos 
Recreation Center court on Saturday, 1 February 2020. Joe Byrnes performed the National Anthem on the electric guitar to close the ceremony.
The Panthers hosted the Horizon Science Academy and Fairport Harding. In spite of competitive action and outstanding effort, Panther varsity and junior high teams did not record a win. The boys lost 59-36 against Horizon, the Junior High lost to Fairport 48-33, and the girls lost to Fairport 39-30. In the last game, the girls were only down two points with 3:43 on the clock. The boys team concludes their season at Oak Harbor on 15 February; they stand at 1-11. The girls and JH teams closed the season today, with a record of 7-3 and 0-4 respectively.
