Steady overnight snowfall blessed Put-in-Bay residents with a white Christmas. At 8am five inches of snow covered South Bass Island; by 3pm another inch had fallen. The images below capture a small part of the winter landscape. In a recent PiBDaily survey, 60% of respondents indicated it was “very” or “mildly” important to have a white Christmas. 12% said “somewhat,” and 28% said “not at all.” [click to enlarge]
