Put-in-Bay Harbor Ice Lamentable for Winter Enthusiasts

Put-in-Bay harbor ice is visible only inside the public docks.  Those who adore the ice-skating, ice-boating, and ice-fishing wonder what February holds.  The Farmers’ Almanac call for “cold and very flaky” in our region of the country appears to need re-assessment.  Earth Development’s forecast continues in this fashion:  “Ohio’s coldest periods will be in late January and the beginning of February, with those frigid temperatures also extending into March.”  The three-month outlook from NOAA for February, March, and April suggests above average precipitation and above average temperatures.
