Put-in-Bay Blessing of Fleet Celebrates Sailor’s Heritage

Put-in-Bay Blessing of the Fleet carries on a long-standing mariner’s tradition.  Under crisp, blue skies and a hefty north wind blowing near 21mph, residents of the Bass Islands gathered at Fox’s Dock to witness participants on sea, land, and in the sky receive blessings from three local ministers–Rev. Mary Staley, Deacon Jim O’Donnel, Rev. Dane Meuschke.
