Put-in-Bay, OHIO (December 6, 2021) – The announcement Midwest country music fans have been waiting for is finally here! Continuing on the success of past Bash on the Bay events, the lineup for next summer’s Bash on the Bay will again feature not one, but two country music megastars – Brad Paisley and Zac Brown Band!
Bash on the Bay 5, owned by 614 Events, Inc., will take place over two days – Wednesday, August 24 and Thursday, August 25, on the grounds of the Put-in-Bay Airport on South Bass Island, part of Shores & Islands Ohio.
Wednesday night’s headliner Brad Paisley is one of country music’s most decorated solo male artists with three GRAMMY awards, 14 CMAs, 15 ACMs, and many others. Paisley’s high-energy performances are unmatched. A prolific singer-songwriter and member of the Grand Ole Opry, Paisley has written 21 of his 24 number one hits. Thursday night’s headliner, Zac Brown Band, is a multi-platinum, three-time GRAMMY Award-winning, southern rock group known to be one of the most dynamic live acts in the business. Zac Brown will take the stage with band members Jimmy De Martini (violin), John Driskell Hopkins (guitar), Clay Cook (guitar), Chris Fryar (drums), Coy Bowles (guitar), Daniel de los Reyes (percussion) and Matt Mangano (bass guitar). No doubt their unique boundary-pushing musical energy will close out the festival in style.
Supporting acts, hitmakers Jake Owen and Chris Janson, join a bill filled with top-notch country music entertainment. Festival gates open each day at 2.30 pm.
“Once again, tickets for Bash on the Bay are going to be the hottest tickets of the year,” said event organizer, Tim Niese of 614 Events, Inc. “The exciting daily lineups only build on the success of our other island concerts including last year’s first-ever two-day event. Concert-goers can enjoy the resort atmosphere of Put-in-Bay while experiencing one of the most amazing music festivals in the country.”
