
The “Mary Ann Market,” Miller Boat Line’s new ferry, is on the way to its home-port at Put-in-Bay, Ohio!
Miller Boat Line is happy to announce the “Mary Ann Market” has begun her journey from Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, to Put-in-Bay, Ohio. You can follow her course through Lakes Michigan, Huron, and Erie via Marine Traffic.
- Named in honor of company owner, matriarch, lifelong island resident Mary Ann Market (1935-2010).
- Drive on/drive off passenger and vehicle ferry, length 140 feet, 38.5 feet wide, draft 7 feet. The fifth and largest vessel in the Miller Ferry fleet, a capacity up to 600 passengers/approximately 28 vehicles.
- The Mary Ann Market was constructed at Fraser Shipyard, Superior, Wisconsin, and was designed by naval architect Elliot Bay Design Group, Seattle, Washington.
- The Mary Ann Market project managers are Captain Jake Market and Captain David Bianchi.
