Tuesday night the Panther volleyball team traveled to Horizon Science Academy looking to continue their hot streak. The host Jaguars could do little to stop the streaking Put-in-Bay School team. The Panthers swept the best of five series 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-13).
After kicking off the Labor Day rust, the girls played well together. Leading the Panthers was El Kostura with a career-high 5 kills; Ava Heineman had 14 assists and Lilian Frederick led the team with 12 kills. The win moved the Panthers record to 3 wins and 2 losses on the year. The team looks to improve in practice before their road game at Start High School on Thursday. Go Panthers–Get your growl on!
