Put-in-Bay Community Honors Scott Pugh

The Scott Pugh Foundation hosts the first annual Bay Day event at the Twine Shanty Field (2099 Langram Road) on Saturday, 22 October 2022, from 12-4pm.

Bay Day will raise funds for Foundations Charity, which supports island scholarships, elderly island community members, and Northern Ohio families facing childhood cancer.  Entry for the event is $15.00.

The event is for everyone!

Live music from island favorites–Bob Gatewood, Ray Fogg, Allie Market, and Lucas Guy–as well as performances by the Put-in-Bay Twirling Club, featuring Jacob Seaman, and Cleveland area magician Elie Magic.

Put in Bay CommunityFace painting, balloon animals, character artist drawings, island hayrides, crafts, lawn games, and a petting zoo will keep the whole family entertained for hours.  Jump on the inflatables and let the little ones play in the soft area for babies and toddlers. Take part in the 50/50 raffle or historical island memorabilia silent auction.  Food trucks and refreshments will be available to purchase.  There truly is something for everyone.

In September 2021, Put-In-Bay resident Scott Pugh lost his long battle with cancer.  He was a pillar of the community and friend to all.  The Scott Pugh Foundation is rooted in the belief we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference in the world.  Scott left us far too soon;  it is our mission to carry on his legacy via this foundation.
