“Autumn”
Autumn winds are a calling
For our souls to see the leaves a falling.
To open our eyes to vibrant colors all around,
As the leaves keep falling, falling down.
That oh so crisp smell in the fall air, the crunch beneath our feet,
Oh, what a beautiful show, oh what a treat!
In my heart, fall will always be alive,
Even when that last leaf has not survived.
As the sky is filled with that unforgettable Autumn Glow,
Remember how beautiful it is to let things go,
Because sometimes good things must come to an end.
Oh lovely fall, until we meet again!
