Cold temperatures are part of winter expectations, and Punxsutawny Phil predicts another six weeks of winter weather just as the National Weather Service broadcasts a Hazardous Weather Outlook:
Much colder air will arrive late tonight. Sub-zero wind chills are
anticipated. Arctic air will remain over the region through Friday night. In terms of temperatures and wind chills, air temps will plummet into the single digits and low teens behind the front tonight, only recovering into the low/mid teens Friday.
So bundle up, protect the pets, and head into the cold snap with good cheer. After all, the weather forecast will change before we know it!
