No Joke Storm Cancels Ferry Ops

Once again an unruly northwest Ohio storm system disrupts weekend plans.  Miller Boat Line started Saturday operations but was forced to shut down for the remainder of the day due to high winds.

At 1pm the South Bass Island Light House station clocked a west wind at 43mph with gusts at 49mph.  The air temperature was 42°F and barometric pressure was rising rapidly from 29.43 inHg.  Tomorrow’s conditions should improve, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, Ohio.
