The Food Production 3 Associate at Stone Lab has been reclassified to Dining and Residence Lead. It is now a 12-month FTE with slightly higher pay.
Dining and Residence Hall Lead
The dining and residence lead has the most advanced technical and operational experience with all aspects of the dining hall and residential buildings as well as with the policies and procedures entailed on that side of the program. They will serve as the supervisor of 4 full-time seasonal dining and residence coordinator positions.
The lead has advanced knowledge of processes and/or tools required in the team or department and beyond through on-the-job training and/or certification or vocational training. As the lead it is required to become an expert on all commercial dining equipment and troubleshooting, have the ability to train, advise, new staff, create schedules and assign or delegate work to run the program effectively and efficiently. The lead will review work and conduct performance evaluations of the 4 full-time seasonal staff in the dining and residence program.
The lead anticipates, recognizes, and solves the most complex issues and questions that arise within the dining and residence program, Stone Lab operations, or Stone Lab’s customers. The dining and residence program interacts with the customer base daily and will handle questions and concerns regarding living and eating at Stone Lab. Problem solving issues could entail addressing customer dietary restrictions, housing or roommate disputes, or any other general maintenance concerns.
