Lake Erie Islands Conservancy is excited to report Ottawa County Community Foundation granted $2500 to fund the AmeriCorps intern this year, whom they share with the Put-in-Bay Township Park District and the Lake Erie Islands Nature and Wildlife Center. The funding was announced at the awards breakfast held at the Catawba Island Club on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Sincere appreciation also goes to Paula and John Ladd for their kind donation toward the internship.
Lisa Brohl of the LEIC, Renee Fultz of the LEINWC, and Wendy Chambers of Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce were all awarded grants by the OCCF. Ms. Brohl stated, “We are so grateful for the assistance of the OCCF and happy to work with Julene Market, Ottawa County Community Foundation Board Member.”
