Set against the picturesque backdrop of Put-in-Bay, Ohio, the island comes alive with a sea of pirate hats, eye patches, and the promise of an unforgettable voyage into the world of pirates.

FRIDAY, JUNE 24th lifts the anchor on our weekend-long Pyrate Fest. Pirates from across the country unite at the Flag Raising ceremony at 4:30pm in downtown DeRivera Park & Harbor, proclaiming the start of “Erie Days Ahead.” Later, adult pirates are invited to embark on the spirited Pyrate Pub Crawl from 5pm to 8pm, indulging in island-flavored, Pyrate-inspired drinks crafted with Malibu Rum.
SATURDAY, JUNE 25th beckons you to step back in time at the Pyrate Encampment & Marketplace, where 1800’s pirate life comes alive from 10am to 5pm. Captain Jack Sparrow and his Krew will transform the Pyrate Kids Zone into a treasure trove of activities for the young ones, including sword fights, treasure hunts, and even swearing in new members to the Pyrate Krew!
SUNDAY, JUNE 26th continues the high-seas adventures with more of the Pyrate Encampment & Marketplace, interactive childrens activities, and another thrilling treasure hunt led by Captain Jack Sparrow. Don’t miss out on the Antique Car Parade winding through downtown at 2pm, a cherished Put-in-Bay extravaganza.
Experience the thrill of live cannon firings throughout the day with the dramatic flair of pirate battles in historically-accurate demonstrations. Led by our Cannon Master Bob Gilmore, these black powder displays are a sight and sound to remember!
