Alas, Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial’s Observation Deck remains closed due to “elevator electronic components damaged on July 27, by lightning. An estimated date for safely resuming tours has not been established.”
Nevertheless, the upcoming 210th Commemoration of the Battle of Lake Erie, on 8-10 September 2023, presents numerous activities which promise to do justice to this special anniversary.
