Good things to put on any personal calendar are community events which generate public interest, are informative, and provide entertainment. Three such items are on the PiBDaily™ Calendar Watch.

First up is “Birds & Community Science Apps” on Saturday, 16 September 2023, presented by Lake Erie Islands Nature & Wildlife Center. The program runs from 5-6pm at Scheef East Point Preserve.

Second is a feature showing of TOY STORY 2 on Tuesday, 19 September 2023, at South Bass Island State Park. The movie begins at 8pm, weather permitting.
Third is the Second annual BAY DAY honoring the late Scott Pugh. The Scott Pugh Foundation hosts this event at the Twine Shanty Field (2099 Langram Road), Put-in-Bay. In September 2021, Put-In-Bay resident Scott Pugh lost his long battle with cancer. He was a pillar of the community and friend to all. The Scott Pugh Foundation is rooted in the belief we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference in the world. Scott left us far too soon; it is our mission to carry on his legacy via this foundation. The $15 admission fee supports the Foundation.
