Congratulation to Put-in-Bay resident Kathi Spayde for entering the Ottawa County 2023 Senior Hall of Fame.
Ottawa County Senior Resources gives the annual award to county residents who make outstanding contributions to their community and who show leadership, fellowship, and dedication in service. Challenges the nominee overcomes during tenure of service to the Ottawa County Community are also considered.
Ms. Spayde is recognized for her diligent volunteer work with the Put-in-Bay Property Owners Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to the enhancement of Put-in-Bay Village and Township. She is responsible for information gathering and Web production. Ms. Spayde also serves on the Board of the Put-in-Bay Garden Club as Membership & Media Services Coordinator.
The Nominations Committee, which consists of the Director, the Ottawa County Board of Commissioners, the Ottawa County Senior Advisory Board and selected individuals from the community involved in senior programming, select winners from a pool of nominees.
