The Put-in-Bay Lady Panthers battled the visiting Toledo Waite Indians in a friendly volleyball match and lost 3-0. The defeat moves the Panthers’ record to 6 wins and 3 losses. Unfortunately, it’s the third loss in a row for the team, in spite of great effort.
The Panthers played forcefully throughout the entire match. Afterwards, Coach Schuffenecker said, “Looking at the schedule, we knew this was going to be a very difficult stretch. We just couldn’t find enough plays to win games, but the team certainly gave winning effort.”
The Panthers enter their final week of the season on Monday, 2 October 2023.
