Luke Bryan Brings Big Energy to Bash on the Bay Day 1

Day 1 of Bash on the Bay 2025 delivered a packed crowd, sunny skies, and a mix of country favorites and local flavor.

Luke Bryan closed out the night with high energy — and a few laughs. “Y’all don’t look deserted to me, y’all look very un-deserted,” he joked about the island crowd. He also shared that when he first heard about Put-in-Bay, he thought “y’all served a bunch of banana puddin’.”

The evening also featured a special local highlight as Put-in-Bay’s own Bob Gatewood took the stage to perform his signature song Friends of the Bay. Parmalee, stepping in last minute for Ashley McBryde, who was unable to perform under doctor’s orders, quickly became a crowd favorite.

Day 2 of Bash on the Bay kicks off tonight with performances from Bret Michaels, Russell Dickerson, and headliner Sam Hunt.
