Paradise Island Celebrates 40 Years at the Round House Bar

Cheers to 40 years!

This Wednesday, July 30th, Paradise Island celebrates a major milestone — 40 years of music, memories, and island fun. The long-running Wednesday group invites fans old and new to join them at the Round House Bar from 2 to 5:30 PM for an anniversary celebration filled with live music, dancing, and good vibes.

Founded in 1985, Paradise Island has become a staple of the Put-in-Bay music scene. Known for their high-energy performances and loyal following, the group has been entertaining island crowds for four decades.

To mark the occasion, Mayor Judy Berry will deliver a special proclamation honoring Paradise Island’s 40 years of impact on island life and culture.

While the band will also play their regular Thursday set (2–5:30 PM), the official anniversary celebration — including the proclamation and special festivities — takes place Wednesday only.
