Put-in-Bay Students Take the Stage for “It’s a Musical World”
Tonight, Put-in-Bay School hosted its annual spring concert, delighting the community with a joyful celebration of global music. Directed by Mrs. C.C. Wisniewski, the program—titled It’s a Musical World—featured students from kindergarten through 8th grade.
The concert took the audience on a musical journey across continents, with songs from Europe, Africa, Australia, the Caribbean, Asia, South America, and North America. Students showcased their talents with ukuleles, percussion instruments, and even a brass trio. Several students also performed solos, and the evening ended on a high note with the American folk classic “When the Saints Go Marching In.”
The performance highlighted both cultural diversity and the growing musical talents of PIB’s young performers.
