Battle of Lake Erie Foundation Plans Special Memorial Day Events
Memorial Day ceremonies to honor the brave & fallen soldiers from The Battle of Lake Erie will take place in Put-in-Bay!
On May 24 & 25:
• Celebratory Gala – May 24, 7:00 PM at Put-in-Bay Conference Center – music, food & the introduction of the new Battle of Lake Erie movie. Reserve a ticket online, or call 440-349-3210
• Memorial Day Celebration – May 25, 12:00 PM at Perry’s Victory & International Peace Memorial – Remembering the importance of the War of 1812 and the 557 who served during the Battle of Lake Erie. International representatives, gun salutes, and a permanent plaque unveiling.
• On-Board Ship Tours – May 25, 1:00-7:00 PM – The Flagship Niagara will be in port and open to the public with deck tours. Tickets are $7.00 and can be purchased in person.
