Final Service Warning Issued by Captain Billy Market
“After studying many different weather models/forecasts, as well as consulting my ‘Magic 8 Ball,’ here is my prediction for ferry service. The water temperature has dropped to 34.3 degrees off Marblehead. This Thursday-Sunday show slightly milder temperatures, BUT this trend will end on Sunday, Jan. 10th. Starting on Monday, Jan. 11, temperatures will stay below freezing (highs in mid-20’s/lows in the teens) for at least a week. My BEST prediction is that Sunday, Jan. 10th will be the last day of ferry service for the foreseeable future. Plan accordingly!”
