“Friends of the Bay” Video to be Produced at DeRivera Park

News FlashA music video shoot will take place in Put-in-Bay’s DeRivera Park on Sunday, August 31st, and you are invited to join and be a star!

On Sunday, August 31 a music video for Bob Gatewood’s “Friends of the Bay” will be shot in DeRivera Park, downtown Put-in-Bay, at 2:00 pm.
Bob Gatewood’s “Friends-of-the-Bay” was declared by the Village Council to be Put-in-Bay’s official song. An official song needs an official music video! Gatewood and his team are organizing the video shoot for this weekend in the park. It will be shot with multiple cameras including a high-definition drone camera.

If you wish to be in the video, simply show up by 1:45 pm at the park. At that time, volunteers will begin lining up everyone along the perimeter of the park for the big shoot. A vehicle will cruise along playing the song and displaying the lyrics as the cameras rolls so everyone can sway and sing along. If you wish, you can brush up on the song by visiting YouTube and entering “Bob Gatewood – Friends of the Bay” or you can just show up and wing it. Either way, Bob and company would love having you there.
