Island Air Taxi Shares Fog Status
Island Air Taxi’s Captain Dustin Shafer reports:
I must have missed the memo that the weather was going to haze me for so long. I haven’t the foggiest idea when it will clear, and hope I’m just dense for saying this–we’ll be lucky to fly to/from the islands before Sunday.
This weather system currently covers 25 states and not moving fast. I have almost no hope for today and very little for tomorrow; of course we’ll fly as soon as it’s safe and legal. Chontel is doing all she can to keep everyone informed, updating the schedule, and working thru the rescheduling. Prayers her phone doesn’t overheat from all the calls and texts
